Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Nussbaum shop and warranty standards.
  • Type of work will vary, including (but not limited to):
    • Preventative Maintenance
    • Regularly scheduled services and inspections
    • Troubleshooting and diagnosis
    • Non-warranty in-depth repairs
    • Replace necessary parts
    • A/C troubleshooting & repair
    • Suspension work
    • Electrical work
    • Installation and servicing of third-party add-ons
  • Accurately log and track your work within TMT maintenance software
  • Document/write diagnostic steps and corrective actions implemented
  • Cultivate and maintain driver relationships as you work on their equipment.
  • Willingness to continually learn as equipment technologies change.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

  • Working knowledge of diesel equipment maintenance and repair
  • Certifications are an added bonus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be flexible and patient in dealing with changing situations
  • Preferred requirements:
    • A diesel technician degree or
    • 1 or more years of experience as a diesel/heavy-duty trailer technician.
