SUMMARY:

Responsible for running a quality shift including but not limited to, ensuring Great Food and Beverage, Atmosphere, Service, and Staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilizes opening and closing checklists to assure a sanitary, safe and secure operation. (i.e.: bathroom floors, dining areas, bars, lobby, outside front entrance, etc.)
• Establishes customer contact in the front-of-house and maintains high profile on the floor throughout shift.
• Acts as quality control in expo area by ensuring standards of food production product quality and presentation as determined by Winking Lizard procedures.
• Manages a “great atmosphere” through monitoring lighting, sound, TV’s, HVAC and cleanliness.
• Responsible for maintaining guest satisfaction throughout shift.
• Responsible for restaurant policies and procedures designed to effect control of restaurant costs and expenses.
• Works closely with Management team to enforce adherence to Lizard specs and standards.
• Ensures the security policies for building, including but not limited to doors locked, lizardwear security and inventory.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings to promote teamwork and communication with staff members.
• Is proficient in ALOHA functions to support to front-of-house staff during shift to include voids, comps and promos, transfer checks, view tables, open closed check, assign cash drawers, adjust payments, clock outs and check outs.
• Maintains company front-of-house uniform policies and dress code standards as indicated in employee handbook.
• Provides “added value” to the restaurant through building relationships, coaching and mentoring front-of-house staff.
• Ensures a legendary lizard experience for our guests through “managing the bubble” of business.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Company information, is forthcoming in reporting all policy or procedure violations or wrongdoing to the Manager-on Duty.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in Winking Lizard Operations
• Previous employee reviews in good standing
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability
• Understanding of front-of-house department functions and
• Aloha Management functions
• Must have current Alcohol Awareness certification

LIMITATIONS:

• May work mid shifts; they may not open the restaurant alone. In the event they are utilized in a closing shift they must work as the second closer.
• Permitted to assign cash drawers and collect server reads from shift. Access to store safe is limited to Assistant Manager and above unless approved by Regional Manager.
• Obtains pertinent information needed to execute shifts through one on ones with Manager on
  Duty. (I.e. Information from manager meetings or corporate communications)
• Communicates shift events to Manager on Duty so that the MOD may document in Redbook.
