Processor (Photo Cathode) Location: Tempe, AZ (85281) Job ID: 61145 Temp to Direct Work schedule: Daily hours 9/80 Shift Hours: 2nd M-TH EOF 12:30pm-10:00pm Education/Certification: •High School/ GED required The Processor will adhere to procedures and work instructions to perform a variety of processes, achieving quality and yield goals. Major functions: •Metallization and/or coating of glass substrates using various deposition equipment to achieve proper electro-optical surface conditions •Surface preparation of pre and post metalized or coated substrates using cleaning agents, solvents and acids to prepare substrates for post-processing •Inspect pre and post metalized or coated glass substrates in order to comply with internal and external acceptance criteria •Be able to sit for extensive periods, using high and medium power inspection tools to verify compliance to inspection criteria •Train to recognize and categorize 40+ failure modes set against a criteria developed for individually designed night vision components for the purposes of data and quality tracking. •Involve engineering for the determination of questionable quality issues for evaluation. •QTS data entry, Inventory of components both physical and virtual from the computer •Labor entry of time worked into CINCOM database Education/Certification: •High School/ GED required Required Knowledge: •Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) •Ability to use a microscope •Must be able to clearly read and write in English •Must be able to multitask •Must be able to work alone or with others •Security clearance may be required •Ability to use chemicals (acids, bases, and solvents) •Ability to use inspection equipment •Must be familiar with lean and 5S methodologies Experience Required: •Clean Room •Darkness or low lighting (in inspection and test areas) ____________________________________________________________________ Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
