Machine Operator

MACHINE OPERATORS NEEDED!!!

Responsible for, the set up of the machine, bringing materials to the hopper and inspecting the alarm to ensure proper operation.

Monday - Saturday (Required)
1st shift 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
2nd shift 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM
Shifts rotate on a quarterly basis.

1. Make sure tile is the correct material and color
2. Visually monitor all tile being made
3. Check that the tile is good quality (surface, color, thickness, wetness, etc.)
4. Make sure the blades are making clean cuts on tile ends and side trim
5. Check/adjust that nail holes are deep enough
6. Pull tile from wet line to quality check
7. Notify QA of quality problems or questions
8. Remove any reject tile, recycle and place mold on dry line
9. Constantly monitor hopper to prevent build-up
10. Bang the sides, shake or poke through build-up in hopper
11. Monitor raw materials mixing system belts for alignment and wear
12. Check molds coming in the tile machine from the in feed line to ensure they are clean and undamaged; stop line if needed
13. Ensure that molds are being properly sprayed and covered by oil; adjust if needed
14. Monitor recycler belt
15. Watch liquid gauges
16. Monitor and clean the cut-off system and recycle material
17. Listen for potential and real problems with the machine
18. Complete the TMO check sheets
19. Notify supervisor and/or mechanic of any problems

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
