AWS Certified Aluminum Mig Welder - Full-time

Aluminum manufacturing company in North Highlands has immediate openings for Welders.  Comprehensive health benefits package available after 60 days.  General labor experience required. Structural welding 6061-T6.

Physical labor in a construction environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, heights, and weather.  Operate machinery and tools performing a variety of tasks.

Basic Job functions:

-          Study and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and sketches, and read a tape measure.

-          Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or sub-units, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.

-          File, sand, grind, or polish metal objects; fabricate, assemble, or dismantle manufactured products by hand; stretch, bend, pound metal. 

-          Fabricate and assemble aluminum parts; panels, beams, covers, etc.

-          Lift or move materials and finished products, load and unload trucks, using forklift or pallet jack.

-          Participate in safety meetings.

-          Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

-          Follow instruction and directions from supervisors.

Candidates must take and pass a drug screening and COVID screening.
