Local CDL Truck Driver (Dump Trucks)

Heritage Trucking, Inc. has provided aggregate hauling services in the Valley for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on our excellent relationship with our customers and our employees. We currently have openings for local truck drivers.

Equipment: Belly dump and/or Simple 18 Dump Truck

CDL Driver Pay: $22.00 per hour. Shift differential paid for night work. Annual performance based reviews.

Incentives: Driver referral bonus, truck type slip-seat pay, orientation & training paid @ normal rate.

CDL-A Driver Primary Duties:

• Safely transport aggregate materials to/from plants and various job sites following all DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
  
• Perform pre and post trip inspections daily. DVIR's must be filled out daily. Maintain a clean truck ensuring trailers & beds are free from material.
  
• Communicate with dispatch, managers, and customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
  
• Ensure haul sheets are completed properly and all paperwork turned in daily.
  
• Adhere to all DOT, FMSCA, and company policies and regulations.
  
• Familiarity w/ the Valley, construction experience and mechanically inclined preferred

CDL Driver Qualifications & Requirements:

• Possess and maintain a valid CDL-A or CDL-B and DOT Physical
  
• 23 years of age or older
  
• 1 year commercial driving experience OR 3 months belly/simple dump experience CDL School Documents w/in the last 3 years. Dump truck experience a HUGE plus.
  
• Maintain a clean MVR and accident history (no more than 2 violations allowed).
  
• Drug-free work place. Drug & alcohol drug testing required throughout employment.
  
• Communication: Read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to communicate via company radio, visual signals, messaging via tablets, and filling out required paperwork.
  
• Physical demands: Exposure to various weather conditions and a construction environment, climbing, crawling, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, scraping, and long periods of sitting, loud noises, and wearing personal protective equipment (including steel-toed shoes).
  
• Dependable, safety conscious, and accustomed to positively working within a team environment.
