The Sr Social Media Manager, Emerging Platforms and Owned Brands will own the social media management, evolution and development of SBH owned brand social media accounts for brands including but not limited GVP, ION, Strawberry Leopard, Texture ID, etc. Having an analytical test and learn mentality, this sr social manager will build measurable and scalable programs to immerse SBH owned brands into emerging platforms. This role will also support the retail social media teams with education and execution of emerging platforms best practices, including audio, video, and LIVE streaming expertise. Providing guidance, development, and governance to direct report(s), this sr manager needs to lead with creativity and passion to build social brands from the ground up.

Responsibilities
Owned Brand Social Media Strategy and Execution
- Owns the development of strategy, along with the Sr Director, of all SBH owned brand social media channels outside of retail social channels.
- Implements diverse strategies between owned brands to ensure target audiences are serviced accurately
- Manages social content and channel management for assigned owned brands
- Partner closely with merchandising, creative, category, and media for integrated marketing plan development
- Leads team of Specialist(s) for social content and engagement
- Partners with Sr Social Managers to educate, integrate, and implement new platforms into respective brand's social strategy
- Researches and evaluates industry trends, audience behavior, and growth patterns to determine white space opportunities for SBH brands
- Manages and runs all LIVE event operations for SBH brands across social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.
- Owns the development of strategy, along with the Sr Director, and execution of new and emerging social media platforms such as TikTok, Clubhouse, Twitch, LIVE streaming, etc.
- Owns Social Media Content Creation for New Platforms, creating content on a regular basis in partnership with internal creative teams and outside sourcing to fulfill calendar
- Partners with Sr Social Managers to educate, integrate, and implement new platforms into respective brand's social strategy
- Builds measurable and scalable testing programs for new social media platforms
- Researches and evaluates industry trends, audience behavior, and growth patterns to determine white space opportunities for SBH brands
- Manages and runs all LIVE event operations for SBH brands across social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.
- Builds measurable and scalable testing programs for new social media platforms
- Builds reporting dashboards for owned brands and optimizes social networks for growth to meet aggressive targets
- Researches and evaluates industry trends, audience behavior, and growth patterns to determine white space opportunities for SBH brands
- Supports Sr Director with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
- Minimum 6-8 Years' Experience in Social, Marketing, Communications, Retail Store Marketing, or similar field
- Must have experience with emerging platforms such as TIkTok, Twitch, Live Streams, Audio Channels
- Experience with Audio and Video development a plus
- Must have experience developing social media strategy and execution plans on behalf of a brand
- Must have expert knowledge on existing social media landscape, functionality, trends, consumer behaviors
- Must have knowledge on social commerce
- Must understand social media metrics and performance
- Experience with social media enterprise software (Sprinklr, etc) and Project Management Software (Workfront, Wrike, Etc)
- Experience translating insights to actionable marketing activations
