Job Description
Estimator responsibilities include:
- The role assists in preparing bids packages and cost estimates for proposals. Some requirements include:
- Create consolidated and line item Bills of Material (BOMs)
Create costed Bills of Material (BOMs)
- General understanding of cost estimating
- Some hands on experience with excavation/site development
- Knowledge of structural engineering
Estimator qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Knowledge and use of CAD Software
