Sr. Business Systems Analyst


Overview of Position

We are looking for experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join the team. The Sr. Business Systems analyst will work as part of the IT staff to assist in developing and implementing solutions that meet operational needs within our organization. Candidates must be interested in working in a fast-paced, evolving, and exciting environment. They must be pro-active self-starters, have excellent problem-solving skills and require minimal supervision. This position will interface directly with executives and customers as well as a wide range of software development experts, so excellent communication and people skills are required.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • The BA is responsible for onboarding new clients from the technical standpoint (Transaction mapping, insurance crosswalk, ETL process set-up).
  • Maintaining existing customers by providing visibility into the business KPIs, inventory trends & processing custom batch processes (account recalls, vendor data extracts etc.).
  • Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
  • Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems.
  • May provide consultation to users around automated systems

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 4 years’ experience in Project Management/Business Systems Analysis in Healthcare, preferably within Revenue Cycle. 
    Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience in project management. 
  • PMP Certification is preferred; not required. 
  • EPIC Certification is preferred; not required. 

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • CRCR Certification is a plus. 
  • Experience with EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, Connance or other EMR tools is strongly preferred 
  • Experience with SQL Server desired 

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

General office demands, remote work environment.
 

How much should I expect to travel?

Less than 10% travel involved.
