The shift for this position is 7am – 7pm, First week: Monday – Thursday – Friday & 

Second week: Tuesday – Wednesday – Saturday.

Hiring Bonus of $1,000 after 12 weeks of successful employment!


Purpose & Basic Function: Perform all duties necessary to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the

 warehouse. Mix small batch matched color inks and dispose of department generated chemical wastes.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive all material coming into the warehouse.

Complete required paperwork & maintain location directories.

Check the daily press schedule to ensure adequate stock for upcoming demands.

Supply all departments with material requested from stockroom.

Supply stock to web and sheetfed presses & check copiers throughout the plant for stock.

Operate all material handling equipment. 

Perform maintenance checks on all equipment used in the stockroom.

Perform daily checks on Hazardous and Flammable storage rooms.

Demonstrate good housekeeping attitudes and practices & maintain department quality standards.

Assemble rollers & check / replace used press plate boxes.

Check instructions on job tickets/press schedules and resolve problems as needed.

Function as a technical resource for internal and external customers.

Complete required paperwork including SPC (statistical process control) data.

Estimate ink usage requirements & demonstrate effort to conserve materials.

Offer suggestions for operational or product improvement.

Maintain equipment and adjust/service as needed.

Apprise manager of pertinent work-related information.

Mix required materials, maintain ink formula files, & proof mixed inks for color approval.

Select appropriate ink system to match end use requirements.

Maintain web ink usage and clingage records.

Dispose of departmental chemical wastes according to established procedures.

Complete and file required documentation for disposal of departmental hazardous waste.

Trouble-shoot ink problems and administer defective ink claims.

Assist with new product press trials.


Basic Requirements:

A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.

At least 6 months previous experience operating a forklift required.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills required

Knowledge of color theory, subtractive color mixing experience.

Able to prioritize workload.

Basic verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to learn the job and perform work productively and safely.

Reliable; good attendance is required.

Required to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace.


Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 20 lbs. continuously, 50 lbs. frequently, 

and 100 lbs. occasionally.

Continuous standing required.

Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead required.

Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling required.

Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.

Pass company color perception test.

Work environment involves exposure to excessive noise, being near moving machinery, 

exposure to chemicals & inks with splash risk, and exposure to potential arm and wrist fatigue.

Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.
