What you can expect at FedEx Ground:

• Fast paced and physical warehouse work – why pay for a gym membership when you can get paid while working out?


• Warehouse duties include loading, unloading, and sorting of packages of various sizes.


• Part time FedEx Ground employees work one shift a day; full time FedEx Ground employees work two shifts.


• Shift lengths vary based on package volume – generally part time employees work between 3 and 6 hours a day. Full time employees can expect to work between 6 and 10 hours.


• Overtime paid after 40 hours a week.

Additional Location Information: This is a part time position, working temporarily 6 days a week. There are 2 shifts to choose from: Morning shift is Monday-Saturday starting at about 3:30 AM
Evening shift is Monday-Friday and temporarily also Sundays, starting at 5:30 PM
Start and end times can fluctuate based on volume.

Start Payrate up to $17.30/hour

Directions to our station;
From LIE: Take exit 62 South and merge on to Nicholls Road South ramp. Take the ramp to NY 27 West; stay on the service road and stay right at the fork. go about 2900 feet and our building is on the right hand side.

From Vets Hwy heading South: travel south on Veterans Memorial Highway until you merge on to Sunrise Highway service road. Exit on Nichols Road North-Stony Brook.
After you go up the ramp take the first exit for NY 27 West. Stay on the service road and bear right at the fork. Go as about 200 feet and our building is on the right hand side.

Park in our parking lot and go up to turnstile directly in front of the main office building and buzz the buzzer.
