Mover | Foreman

Cento Family Moving & Storage is a fast-growing moving company in Central Florida, and we are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, fast-paced, and versatile person ready to join our company as Moving Coordinator/Office Manager.

As one of our Movers | Foremen, your responsibilities will include:

• Daily inspect the truck and equipment according to the pre-trip inspection form
• Provide exceptional customer care while working in a fast-paced environment
• Fully wrap and pack household goods to prevent damage from moving
• Daily move furniture, household goods, and other various items
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture
• Fill inventory sheets of goods, while inspecting and keeping records of materials moved
• Communicate with customers, complete invoices, and collect payments
• Safely drive moving trucks (26ft) while keeping track of mileage and fuel purchases
• Lead a team of other Movers/Helpers, making sure they also provide the exceptional service expected

Also, the successful candidate will also have:

• Previous experience in the moving industry
• A valid CDL Class B driver’s license (or willingness to acquire one within one month) with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel about 5% of the time
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to lift/carry heavy items (Up to 100 lbs. or more) repeatedly, with help from moving equipment, while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc
• Good logic and math skills
