Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years' total and/or combined experience with logistics and transportation
  • Prior experience working directly with our primary customer, either through employment and/or contract affiliation
  • Prior experience managing large and complex services programs
  • PMP Certification

Description

  • Manage cost, schedule, risks, and technical performance of a primarily 1099 (Independent Contractor) workforce
  • Proactive staffing for surge, heavy workloads and vacant positions
  • Produce metrics that convey trends and burn rates that impact funding, efficiencies, and timeliness of project completion and quality of deliverables
  • Work closely with the Customer program staff, COTR, CO and GDIT personnel to identify requirements and adjust resources to ensure delivery, oversight and control
  • Hire new employees and/or 1099s, identify training needs, ensure cross-training, use performance management tools to assess, recognize and retain existing staff
  • Prepare/Maintain PMP, Status Reports, PMRs and other reviews and reports - MCSR, Risk Management Plan, and Training Plans
