About this job
- Help design, implement and operate the MSS 1st Line processes and controls as part of the broader counterparty credit risk and control framework
- Coordinate across a wide range of stakeholders including sales, risk, tech and ops.
- Partner with related programs both within and outside of the broader remediation programs to ensure consistency and coordination (methodology, settlements, stress, booking controls, data & system architecture)
- Execute best practice program and project management, instilling appropriate disciple and on time implementation across the broader team. Includes resource and budget tracking.
- Prepare and present communications to senior management and governance forums on project progress.
- Oversee tracking and timely completion of corrective action plans while promoting self-identification of issues.
- Escalate concerns and issues to senior leadership, independent risk management and management committees.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- 10-15 years’ experience ideally in a risk and control function and/or in a program management function focused on risk and controls and related processes
- Familiar with a range of traded products and businesses in the investment bank and the corresponding controls and risk measures
- Experience working on, managing, and leading large cross functional programs
- Track record of driving change and innovating in the risk and control space
- Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and in tight deadlines
