About this job
Raytheon is seeking a Systems Integrator who is knowledgeable in project management and software development. This person will also be comfortable working in a fast paced, creatively diverse group. This position requires in-depth hands on experience as an integrator in an environment where customer focus, cooperation, communication and continual trade-craft improvements are the norm. Must be a US Citizen and have a valid TS/SCI clearance with a favorable poly and must be crossover eligible to the program.
This position is located in the Herndon area.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Suite of products, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Possession of strong time management, organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify and strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Ability to act as Group Communications Officer
• Ability to provide employee development guidance
• Able to compile data from various sources and tell a story (excel spreadsheets) show gaps, projections, trends, etc.
• Ability to professionally interact with senior level personnel
• Able to devise and implement improved office procedures as needed, while delivering outstanding customer service
• Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, at times working under pressure with competing priorities
• Candidate must be able to facilitate external partnerships, liaise between various offices, divisions for budgetary actions, contract inquiries, and knowledge management
• Experience with Agile software development principles and methodologies.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA or equivalent
DESIRED SKILLS:
• The ability to assist with process improvement initiatives.
Required Education & Experience:
• A bachelor degree and/or high school diploma and 6+ years of experience specific to the skills listed.
• Candidates resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position mentioned above, experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
