The Challenge: Do you love guiding tasks and projects as they develop from concept to completion? Do you have the attention to detail needed to catch issues and course correct them? With deliverables on the horizon and a budget to keep in check, project teams need guidance with executive vision and focus. That's why we need you, with the skills to provide thought leadership and expertise in supporting a client focused on digital transformation. You'll apply program and project management best practices to manage stakeholders, report at the executive level, and assess cost, schedule, and performance of U.S. Navy Information Te chn ology ( IT ) product for a Program Executive Office ( PEO ) and Program Management Office ( PMO ) . The tasking involves high visibility and work products for senior executives in the DoD chain of command. You will develop Statements of Objectives ( SOOs ) and other documentation to help oversee and manage vendor projects in support of IT infrastructure initiatives. You'll work with the client's IT stakeholders to understand applicable policies and requirements. You'll coordinate with required government activities and Contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk. You'll develop and implement the schedules and monitor those plans to manage resources and mitigate risk. You'll identify issues, develop recommendations for issue resolution, and escalate status updates to client leadership. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * 8+ years of experience with program management or acquisition management supporting Federal Agencies, including the DoD, Navy, DHS, or Department of State
* Experience with resp ond ing to external taskers to develop senior-level briefs, reports, executive summaries, and analysis
* Experience with developing project goals, requirements, and high-level schedules
* Experience in developing documentation to help oversee and manage vendor projects in support of IT infrastructure initiatives for transport, communication, and networking services in a cloud service model.
* Experience in reviewing vendor proposals and advising clients on the proposed activities, schedule, and cost
* Experience in advising clients on cost avoidance or cost savings based on process improvement, incorporation of leading-edge te chn ologies, and alternative procurement and contracting methods
* Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust to shifting priorities, and solve problems quickly in a centralized program management office structure
* Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree
* Ability to obtain a Project Management Professional ( PMP ) or DAWIA PM Level III Certification within 120 days of hire Nice If You Have: * Experience with supporting the U.S. Navy PMO
* Experience with supporting large scale programs that have DoD Acquisition Category ( ACAT ) or Business Category ( BCAT ) designations
* Ability to identify and manage project risks and measures of success
* Knowledge of IT systems, Product and Service Delivery, and Digital Solutions
* Project Management Professional ( PMP ) or DAWIA PM Level III Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
