Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Position Overview: Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to patients of GRACE COUNSELING AND WELLNESS, PLLC. Clinical therapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are currently looking for couples therapists or counselors who work with children, who are anti-racist, social justice minded, and ready to be a part of a dynamic, fun, and collaborative team.

About Grace Counseling and Wellness: Grace Counseling and Wellness, a group private practice in Burlington, NC, is looking for part time and/or full-time contract psychotherapists to join our group practice. *This position will begin remotely providing telehealth until further notice* Our virtual offices are headquartered in Burlington, NC and provide quality mental health services from the Triad to the Triangle and beyond. Requirements include being licensed for independent practice in the State of North Carolina. Licensees who are receiving supervision and working toward full licensure will be considered for this contract position. Preferred Candidates have 2 years of experience, are registered with CAQH and paneled with BCBS. Compensation for employees begins at $40 per clinical hour and is paid twice a month. Therapist must be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. Grace Counseling and Wellness provides a stream of referrals as well. We are seeking clinicians who have an interest in working with clients across the life span, training and interest in working with children and families is highly desirable for this position. Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists will be considered for this position. Candidate must be independent, driven, and enhance our positive minded group of clinicians.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Perform on-site/telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of GRACE COUNSELING AND WELLNESS, PLLC, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.

· Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.

· Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC.

· Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services or referrals to such patients.

· Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.

· Complete written records in a timely fashion for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient. Maintain patient files that are accurate and up to date.

· Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC.

· Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC.

· Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Align with Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC mission, vision, and values.

· Must be punctual in reporting to work.

· Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and

· Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW(A), LMFT(A) or LCMHC(A)) in the State of NC. A copy must be provided to Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC.

· Available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC, and your own marketing efforts.

· Be organized and detail-oriented.

· Be a team player.

· Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

· Prior experience in a private practice setting is highly preferred.

· At least two years experience post-unrestricted licensure (highly preferred).

· Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).

· Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS (highly preferred).

• Clinical Psychologist, LCMHC(A), LMFT(A) or LCSW
