Title: HOST/HOSTESS 
Reports to: Management Team 
 
Summary of Position:   
Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival, answer questions, and create an unique experience that no guest has encountered before.  
 
Duties & Responsibilities: 
-Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival. 
-When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant. 
-Provide guests with estimated waiting time. 
-Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.  
-Offer guests a menu and answer any questions they may have.  
-Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. 
-Helps maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the café. 
-Full knowledge of menu, and capable of answering all questions. 

-No previous restaurant experience required. 
-Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). 
-Be able to communicate clearly and effectively. 
-Must have exceptional grooming habits.
-Dressed and ready to work 10 minutes before shift begins.
