Mid-Level AV Technician

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Mid-Level AV Technician! The right individual must be mechanically inclined, adaptable to a dynamic work environment, and able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job. This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconference (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Assists with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Builds and tests systems in-house with minimal direction and supervision
• Configures AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Fabricates, terminates, and installs AV and IT cabling
• Configures video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Tests, commissions, and troubleshoots various AV systems
• Assist in diagnosing existing AV systems
• Perform all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience. This position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel, so you must be willing to do so. A CTS and an active DoD Secret security clearance are strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to life 50lbs
• Ability yo stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
• Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
• Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
