Temporary Accounting Clerk

Have we got an opportunity for you!  We are looking for an Accounts Receivable guru to temporarily help our team in ensuring we are getting cash in the door and paying our vendors on time. LSF is a fast-paced high growth company, so we need someone who is comfortable with a high volume of transactions and has an eye for the details.  

This is a temporary position that we anticipate extending for a duration of 30-90 days. Up to 40 hours of employment per week will be available but we will allow for flexibility if part-time work is preferred, to a minimum of 20 hours per week. Starting pay will be $20-23 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

Invoice customers, post payments, apply deposits appropriately and timely.

Manage accounts receivable aging and collections, up leveling where needed to ensure payments are received timely.

Control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Set-up vendor payments and provide a package of supporting documentation to the Controller for approval of payments.

Apply expenses to accounts and departments accurately by analyzing and applying invoices/expense reports and recording entries.

Receive and verify expense reports are in compliance with the expense policy and have been approved prior to processing timely payments.

Preparation and completion of Form 1099s

Other tasks as assigned to support the team

Requirements:

Good communication and a positive attitude are a must!

Prior experience processing accounts receivable, payables, and expense reports is highly preferred.

Experience posting journal entries and reconciliations preferred.

Experience in the consumer products industry is a plus.

Prior experience with NetSuite is preferred.
