Job Description

Adhering to the Oregon Administrative Rule 333-019-1010 is a requirement of employment at Rogue Community Health at time of hire. 

This Administrative Assistant II position is responsible to provide confidential administrative support to the Human Service Officer and Transitional Housing sites.

  1. Schedule meetings, manage calendars, prepare, and post materials for meetings. Make phone calls to follow-up on meetings or requests for information. Provide logistical and technical support for meetings in which people may attend in-person and via Teams / Zoom. Record and post minutes for meetings. 
  2. Welcome visitors at all Transitional Housing site locations, answer inquiries, and direct as appropriate 
  1. Prepare requested documents and handle confidential matters in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and organization’s policies and procedures 
  2. Make travel arrangements as requested and approved 
  3. Represent the agency’s management through appropriate telephone interactions and messaging with, co-workers, donors, community partners, government agencies, the public, vendors and residents
  4. Run errands as requested, including travel to other RCH Transitional sites 
  5. Other related work assigned by supervisor 

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary academic institution required with a focus in business, management, communication, social services, or public health preferred. 

EXPERIENCE: Three years’ experience in administrative support including two years with a healthcare organization or tenant housing preferred.
