Director of Engineering - Full-time

The Director of Engineering will be responsible for maintaining La Playa and Hotel Carmel’s front and back of house areas, to include all guest rooms and meeting areas, interior and exterior of all buildings on property, all guest areas and support areas on the hotel.  The Director of Engineering will manage and oversee all in house projects, associated contracted projects, and hotel renovations.

The Director of Engineering will supervise all engineering technicians and oversee vendors' schedules and performance.

This is a full time exempt position. Actual hours may vary depending on business needs. Attendance as scheduled is a critical element in all positions at La Playa. Emergency on call availability unless advance notice is given. Must be flexible to work on weekends and holidays.
