Weekend and/or Evening CAREGivers Needed - No Exp Necessary - Full-time / Part-time

Home Instead North Phoenix is looking for Evening and Weekend CAREGivers.  No experience necessary, but always welcome.  We provide full training.  Our CAREGivers tell us what days and hours they are available and how many hours per week they would like, and we match you with clients during those time frames!

What would we need from you?

• A love of caring for people.
• Dependability.
• A valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• The ability to pass a background check, and motor vehicle report.
• That's the baseline, we always say &ldquoas long as you have the heart for it, the skills can be taught&rdquo.

What we don't need from you:

• Previous experience
• Vaccinations
• Certifications of any kind

What we offer:

• Money
  • The starting pay is $16 per hour
  • If you use your car to drive your clients anywhere, or run errands for them, we reimburse you at 58 cents per mile.
  • Daily pay, if you choose: We offer an app called TapCheck which allows you to access your pay the day after any shift in between pay periods. (Pay days are the 10th and 25th of each month, direct deposit).
  • Paid training: All trainings are paid, including the initial full day orientation, and ongoing specialty training.

  • Sick leave &ndash you earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours you work.

  • Small geographical client area: North to South &ndash Bell to Northern.  East to West &ndash The 51 to 101 freeways.

  • Someone is available 24/7 no matter what day or time your work.  If you need help, or have a question, someone is always here for you.
  • We always introduce you to new clients whether one of our office staff meets you there your first day, or have you do what we call a &ldquoshadow shift&rdquo with someone currently on the care team to show you the ropes a day or two before your first solo shift.
  • Consistent contact &ndash we want to set you up for success.  We touch base regularly to see how your shifts are going, and encourage our staff to reach out!

What you would be doing:

• Caring for people in their homes.  The clients tend to be seniors who need extra help at home.
• Providing companionship &ndash chatting, going for walks or other outings, playing games, you can be creative!
• Medication reminders.
• Care for those with Dementia/Alzheimer's, physical limitations, or on Hospice Care.
• Assistance with grooming, bathing, toileting, and/or incontinence issues.
• Help around the house.  Things like cleaning up the kitchen, sweeping or mopping, vacuuming, and other light housekeeping tasks.
• Meal preparation.
