The Sr. Benefits Analyst is responsible for performing advanced, specialized, and administrative duties as a member of the Human Resources Benefits team.  This position will be successful by utilizing effective influencing and team collaboration skills to work with others in human resources, partners across the company and a wide variety of third-party vendors.  May lead special and cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers employee benefit programs including life, disability, health insurance and 401k savings by overseeing enrollment, timely delivery of contributions and payroll deductions, and communications with vendors and employees. 
  • Configures the HR system for employee benefits enrollment and supports employees in their selections.
  • Advises management and employees on the formulation and administration of plans and policies.
  • Acts as an internal consultant and strong partner by compiling, analyzing, recommending, and implementing solutions to human resource and process issues focused on continuous improvement and leveraging technology. Includes trend monitoring, reporting, policy development and revision, as well as special projects.
  • Ensures HRIS and third-party systems contain accurate data and are configured to support plan and business requirements.
  • Provides information in response to routine and nonroutine requests.
  • Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state, or local legislation, including period audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Five or more years of related professional-level experience in total rewards within human resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills emphasizing teamwork and customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept with a variety of employee communication and training methods.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce highly preferred.
