Snr Qlik Team Analyst

We are looking for a Snr Qlik Team Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team in the IT Department at JBS. This is an exciting opportunity for a BA with Qlik experience to move into the IT space or for a BI IT Analyst to grow their knowledge and career.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Qlik Sense Development projects working with Business Units to outline project requirements, scope, and development to project completion.

Working one on one with Business Unit developers to assist and mentor them with their own development projects, as well as collaboration.

ETL Process end to end development

Qlik Admin functions, QMC, Supporting Qlik and other upgrades, Qlik IT Help desk Support

Support of Viz Lib extensions, Nprinting environments and reporting.

Exploration of innovative ideas and technologies, including working closely with our Data Science team, BW teams and other cross functional teams.

This position requires a person passionate about business intelligence, data and delivering insights.

There is never a dull on our BI Team you will be scripting, mentoring, training collaborating, creating, producing new ideas and concepts as well as working closely with others to empower developers and build our BI community.

Successful Candidate:

The successful Candidate will need to have a high level of experience with Qlik development. Understanding and working knowledge of data warehousing, big data, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques. Our new Analyst needs to be self-driven and creative with a can-do solution orientated attitude, you do not have to know everything, but you must be able to work out solutions.

Must be able to analyze and interpret business requirements to identify technical solutions. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is self-driven, creative and able to lead, train, mentor and change gears quickly when needed.

We plan to take BI to the next level and need your input and ideas

Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects working with business units within the company to design, build, test and deploy complex analytical solutions using Qlik Sense from multiple data sources.
  • Aid multiple teams using collaboration, consultancy, project management or hands on assistance.
  • Lead mentor for junior developers throughout the company including the Qlik team with the idea to build a team of experienced developers
  • Open the door to new ideas and technologies in the BI space
  • Own upgrades to systems, Qlik environments, VizLib, NPrinting working closely with Basis teams
  • Document procedures and processes
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Agriculture. Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 2 or more years hands-on business experience developing in Qlik products at a high level.
  • Extensive experience in application designing, development and deployment using Qlik.
  • Experience with SaaS environments and Qlik Sense SaaS a plus
  • SQL, R, Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Web-based application development using .net, Visual Basic, or Java environments a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
  • Ability to translate requirements into developed code.
  • Knowledge of formal database architecture and design.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Leadership qualities and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with protein company analytics is a plus
  • Experience using SAP BW or SAP BPC a plus
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the followingcompensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and six company observed holidays.
  • 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
  • Base salaryrange of $80,000-$100,000;and
  • Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
