Site Superintendent (Columbus, Ohio, and Traveling)

The mission of EXXCEL Project Management is the development and construction of repeatable relationships. We work nationally providing real estate investment, development, design-build construction services for the industrial, commercial, and retail markets with a major focus in distribution, food processing and light manufacturing facilities. We have completed 125 million plus sq. ft. of projects in the 45 states we are licensed to do business.

We are looking for talented Site Superintendents to execute our projects in the field. The Site Superintendent’s responsibility is to ensure all OSHA safety requirements are met while ensuring quality and timely execution during the planning, execution, and closeout phases of the project.

The Site Superintendent’s basic function is the supervision of field construction to complete the work on schedule, within budget, and to the quality of workmanship specified in the construction documents.

Support of the project may also include scheduling assistance, subcontractor buyout, construction quality oversight, and assisting with project closeout. May also include a specific technical expertise such as but not limited to; surveying, cut/fill analysis, quality assurance, safety assessments, compliance, etc.

Site Superintendents must demonstrate knowledge in disciplined construction principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, employee supervision, and change management processes. Prior experience with light manufacturing warehouses required.

A Site Superintendent must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and have excellent written and oral communication skills. A person in this position will report to a jobsite field office, whose location may require regional travel.

• Housing according to General Services Administration (GSA) lodging rates
