Job Description:The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation under the Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opportunity to help its customer find new and better data sources and tradecraft to answer new and existing intelligence questions to accomplish its mission.
Program Summary: Working across all areas, using methods that run the gamut from leading edge visualizations, analytic development and new technology research, the program constantly strives to provide the best solutions for the customer to address their mission needs, all in a fast paced, highly collaborative challenging environment.
Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and diversified Jr. Software Engineer with Python Skills and the desire to work on an exciting and unique fast paced project with the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts in the telephony industry. The individual should enjoy working as part of a large team of experts and can expect to learn and be mentored from the best in the Industry. Individual should possess strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Less than 2 years' experience. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Desired Skills
•Experience with Flask, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, User Interface Design
•Experience with Apache Airflow, MongoDB, Minio
•Experience designing and implementing object oriented solutions
•Experience in VSCode development environment
•Strong understanding of data structures and multi-threaded processing
•Experience developing unit tests to automate regression testing
•Basic understanding of modern telephony systems
•Experience with basic networking
•Experience with cellular technologies
•Familiarity navigating Linux using bash commands to configure administrative settings and evaluate system performance
•Able to identify and anticipate needs of a user community, development staff, and integrated applications
•Familiarity with various signals processing systems
