This position pays $24 - $30/HR

Electrician position responsibilities

• Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components.
• Installations include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment, power supply wiring, MC cable, strut, and cable tray.
• Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures. Skilled in electrical drawings and local codes.
• Inspect and trouble shoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Experienced with using a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including circuit tracers, volt meters, megger, proximity testers and ohmmeters
• Have experience with Installing panel boards, transformers, motor control centers and motors

• 5+ years experience in Commercial Electrical Construction.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations and tasks.
• Perform all scopes of large-scale commercial projects, from power distribution to rough in, trim, and finish work.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, local codes and job site safety requirements.
• Has hand and power tools and reliable transportation.

• Able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Job Qualifications:
Required:

• Must understand and perform basic math functions
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or the ability to transport to and from assigned job sites
• High School Graduate or GED
• Vocational background
• Applicants should have 5+ years of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
