Summary

The Sr. Manager, Store Merchandise and Remodel leads a team of colleagues who are responsible for ensuring the merchandise and store layout are ready for the customer to shop! You will lead and deliver merchandising and store remodel execution. The Sr. Manager is responsible for reviewing and approving SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with new vendors and Lidl store teams.
  • This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers more than 50% of the time
  • This position requires overnight domestic travel more than 50% of the time
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
What You'll Do
  • Oversee the execution of store planograms, store layout changes and store product placement
  • Oversee external fixture installers and external merchandisers
  • Oversee Lidl store team members on the remodel and layout changes
  • Conduct vendor negotiations, such as pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and suppliers
  • Manage relationships with new or existing vendors and suppliers
  • Review and lead presentations in power points for each project
  • Communicate and provide updates on project progress to stakeholders
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field
  • 3 – 5 years related experience in retail construction management
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Experience creating suitable framework conditions (organizational, personnel) to ensure the fulfillment of tasks timely, economically and efficiently
  • Experience problem solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • US Driver's license
