At Dexcom you can make a difference in the lives of millions across the world!Reporting to the Sr Manager of Supply Planning, this role plays a critical part in supporting finished goods (FG) distribution, distribution resource planning (DRP) operations, and the global supply planning team.In this role, you will support the distribution planner in managing inventory across our expanding network to ensure we have the right inventory at the right place at the right time, all while optimizing costs, improving customer experiences, and minimizing backorders & write-offs (E&O).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Learn current supply chain business process & tools• Work closely with the distribution planner & provide operational support• Actively manage backorders and take corrective action to allow aging orders to ship while maintaining a positive patient experience• Coordinate movement of material from receiving warehouses to distribution warehouses• Monitor inventory positions across the network and plan inventory movement to replenish distribution centers• Prepare daily outbound FG distribution plan & provide weekend and backup support to the distribution planner• Work closely with the Shipping team to execute distribution according to plan and navigate exceptions and challenges• Work cross functionally to improve data accuracy and improve tools• Support the Canadian business by placing orders and managing inventory movement• Evaluate days on hand (DOH) of inventory in various locations & coordinate material movement to replenish FG distribution centers and forward loading (FL) locations• Ad-hoc projects for scalability
