Assistant Manager

Do you have restaurant experience and feel you have the skills to lead our team? Our assistant managers and shift leads are the driving force for our restaurants on every shift. These positions require a professional attitude and the ability to be responsible for running shifts in conjunction with another manager or by yourself. These leaders within our 4 walls take direction from our General Manager and invest the time and energy to create outstanding food and help build the TEAM atmosphere. In these roles, you will be a teacher and cheerleader simultaneously, while holding the team accountable to Huey Magoo’s standards. There is a lot of opportunity to grow in these roles, and you will develop and learn skills that will last you a lifetime.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for running the daily operations of the restaurant.  Managing Huey Magoo’s level of standards in all areas of operations, including but not limited to:
-Ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our guests.  
-Leading a team of fifteen to twenty people.  
-Building relationships with guests and co-workers.  
-Train and develop team members.
-Controlling food, paper, and labor costs. 
-Safety, guest and vendor relations, and restaurant maintenance.
-Inventory management.  
This can be a full-time or part-time position. The assistant manager must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Applicant must have a positive can-do attitude, excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.  Previous leadership or management experience is recommended for this applicant.  Ability to lift 50lbs and work an open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.$15-$16
