Summary of Job:

Seeking entry level and experienced technicians, this position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the master level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to residential customers
  • Respond timely to daily residential HVAC service dispatched calls
  • Perform leak detection, evacuation, recovery, and recharging
  • Perform advanced full-system, specific diagnostics
  • Perform advanced refrigeration repairs
  • Perform service and maintenance of geo-thermal, zone, and duel fuel systems
  • Perform advanced ductwork repairs, such as patching holes and reconnecting
  • Diagnose and/or replace OEM parts other than truck stock during a planned or demand service call
  • Educate and advise customers of system operation and properly explain needed repairs found
  • Ensure vehicle cab and cargo area is clean, neat and organized
  • Utilize company technology and individual technical capability to provide a great experience to our residential customers
  • Meet predetermined sales lead goals, revenue targets and warranty
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to handle stress and job demands
  • Must be able to cooperatively work with others

Skills and Abilities:

  • Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and advanced electronics of system
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair advanced piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel
  • Advanced knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
  • Knowledge of energy conservation practices/equipment as it relates to residential HVAC and air quality/filtering systems
  • EPA Certification
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
