Job Description
Prince William Academy is seeking a preschool teacher for children ages 2 - 4. Hours are 8:30 - 4:30, with some flexibility in the afternoon appreciated.
Responsibilities include:
Providing a loving, safe, and stable classroom environment for up to 10 students
Teaching language arts and math foundations
Helping develop social skills
Teaching students to care for their toys, belongings, and the classroom
Diapering, toilet training, and assisting children with potty
Overseeing snacks and meals
Following all VA state licensing procedures and regulations
Communicating with parents
Maintaining lesson plans
The successful candidate will have experience working with this age group, excellent references, and ability to pass a background check. Must also have excellent communications skills. CDA or bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary is $12 - $14 per hour.
