Your role as a Grill Cook is responsible for preparing food for a restaurant's clients. With your high degree of skills, you are responsible to make each experience better than the last and provide a lasting impression that brings them back.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and to standard(s)
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Present, garnish and arrange dishes
- Maintaining a clean, safe dining and working environment
- Ability to learn menu (items) and promotions
- Handle and store ingredients
- Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Outgoing and energetic person
- Great communication and people skills
- Basic food safety understanding and practice
- Food service preferred, not required
- Minimum age – 18 years old
- Part-time only
- Wage is depending on experience
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to provide prompt service
- Able to multitask between deep fryers, grill, and prep table
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to kitchen standard
- Effective time management
- Meet state/local requirements for handling food
- Apply company policies and procedures
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to regularly stand, bend, reach, pull, push, lift, carry, and walk with up to 50 lbs. around the store
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
