A residential group home is looking for persons who are passionate about what they do, have reliable transportation, and are willing to oversee and help ADULTS with mental health difficulties. Applications are encouraged from Behavioral Health Technicians!

We are an ADULT residential treatment center in LAVEEN, ARIZONA that offers 24-hour supervision and activities aimed at promoting resident independence, teaching home management, and preventing relapse. The purpose of this program is to maintain a safe home setting while also providing treatment to help the individual's behavioral health stable or improve. Based on the needs of the residents, our staff provides tailored supervision and treatment. We also aim to foster personal development through activities that enhance self-care, independent living skills, adaptive daily living skills, and social skills, such as interpersonal and coping skills. We welcome both male and female clients, with the majority of our male client base being Native Americans.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide residents with a supportive, protective living environment, and protection of resident’s rights.
  • Demonstrate ethical behaviors such as respecting residents and personnel members boundaries.
  • Prepare meals and provide residents transportation to outside therapeutic services when indicated.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment at all times
  • Prepare daily progress notes on resident’s progress and regression
  • Protect and maintain the confidentiality of resident’s records and information.
  • Assist residents in formal and informal independent and life skills In-service
  • Coordinate and facilitate resident’s social and recreational activities.
  • Assist residents with taking necessary medications in accordance with agency’s assistance in the self-administration medication procedures.
  • Assist residents in receiving the care and services specified in their treatment/care plan and in accordance with the rules set forth by the department of behavioral health services.
  • Extensive Documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Signing bonus

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Level 1 Finger Print Clearance Card (Preferred)
