Mid-Level Tax & Accounting Associate

Experienced Tax and Accounting professional with 3+ years in the following areas:

• Preparation of tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, corporations, and closely held businesses (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
• Preparation of tax planning and projections for all applicable entities
• Research and respond to Federal and State tax notices
• Analyze general ledger accounts as part of overall work paper preparation
• Preparation of workpapers to support tax returns and compiled and reviewed financial statements
• Perform compilations and reviews of client’s financial statements on GAAP and tax basis

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in tax preparation and workpaper preparation
• BS Accounting
• CPA License a plus
• USA work authorization
• Proficient with tax preparation software (ProSystem FX, preferred), accounting software (Sage/Peachtree and QuickBooks Online preferred) and strong Excel Skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information 

Starting Salary between $60,000 and $70,000 with bonuses and increases commensurate with experience and performance.
