Construction Inspector (TCI) - SIGN ON BONUS

PRIME AE Group (www.primeeng.com), a well-established and emerging multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with 19 office locations and over 475+ employees within the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast Regions, is looking to add Construction Inspectors to our existing CM/CI team for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects. We are hiring Construction Inspectors to fill all inspector openings.

Anyone with any level of asphalt and concrete construction inspection experience and certifications is encouraged to apply. NICET certification is strongly desired; however, we will pay for all certifications.

These positions involve material testing and construction inspection of concrete or asphalt roadways, bridges, drainage systems, M&P of traffic, E&S components, and earthwork.

• The inspector will need to:
• Write comprehensive documentation
• Complete the PSA/IDR’s reports at the end of each day
• Review schedules
• Prepare work orders and estimates per Publication 2 (P.O.M)
• Review plans
• Follow Specification 408 and RC, BC, TC, and other standards
• Have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.

Minimum Requirements:

6-months Concrete / Asphalt experience or the following certifications are required:

• NICET
• ACI
• NECEPT Concrete and Asphalt
• CDS NeXtGen/V3/IPAD/Kahua
• ECMS experience
• NBIS (bridge inspection) experience
• Nuclear Gauge Certification
