Job Summary

As a FirstLight Home Care Caregiver, you will be able to work with clients from many different backgrounds and needs, including seniors, and adults with disabilities. You will have an opportunity to use your talents to achieve our Mission: To Help People Live up to their Highest Potential, and ensure they feel Safe, Comfortable and Cared for - Wherever they call Home.
The FirstLight Home Care Caregiver is responsible for assisting clients with personal care and companion care needs at their private residence. We assist with ADL's including Mobility Assistance, Dressing, Eating and Personal Hygiene. We also assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and errand/appointments assistance. Most importantly we are companions, friends, and compassionate caretakers with a big heart for seniors!
 
Experience and Qualifications…
Active CNA or HHA license in good standing in MO or KS
At least 1 year experience working as a caregiver, personally or professionally.
Driver’s License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable transportation
Experience helping clients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or other Memory Care needs.
Experience working with PPE and equipment such as a Gait Belt, Trapeze, Hoyer lift and other common assistance devices is a big plus.
