Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Intellectual Disabled Clients in a Nursing Home (ICF-DDN).

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to disabled clients
• Diagnose and establish client treatment plans (Care Plans)
• Monitor and report changes in client symptoms or behavior
• Schedule and take Clients to appointments
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding client care
• Educate clients and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate client medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to clients and their team members
• Oversee LVN and Direct Care Staff to ensure Clients are getting appropriate care based on individual needs
• Answer and Report to California Department of Public Health (CDPH) - Fresno at any time needed
• Further responsibilities given during Orientation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Preferred experience with ICF-DDN Regulations
• Preferred experience with CDPH
• Familiarity with Computer Software
• Ability to build rapport with clients and staff
• Ability to be a great/helpful Leader and Supervisor
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond well in a stressful situation
