RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports administration, coordination and application of company-wide HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Maintains employee files and records on systems
  • Schedules and coordinates new employee orientation
  • Posts required labor law information
  • Performs general clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, copying, and mailing
  • Assist with communication of benefits programs changes/updates, responds to employee's benefit questions and assists with resolution of problems regarding access or enrollment in benefits
  • Coordinates paperwork related to benefits, retirement plans, COBRA continuation, worker's compensation and unemployment
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Assist with scheduling and managing temporary workers, as needed
  • Manage short-term disability and/or FMLA leave requests and claims
  • Administer HR-related systems, as needed, including HRRequest and Reviewsnap
  • Other tasks as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma with 5 years relevant Human resources experience required (or)
  • Associates degree in Business, Human Resources or other related field and 1 to 2 years of work experience (or)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or business in lieu of work experience
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Proficient on MS Office
  • Experience with HR systems such as Dayforce, Ultipro, Kronos, etc.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
