The RN Director of the Cath Lab will report to the CNO, while direct reports include Nurse Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and a Cath Lab RN Educator. This Nurse Director will make valuable contributions within the department and have direct input in growing team culture. They will have a Nurse Manager of Cath Lab for support. The ideal Nurse Director is a lead-by-example visionary and has goals of building and managing a team of excellence.
The Director of Nursing will manage a Cath Lab that has program affiliations with the nation’s top Cardiology program. This thriving unit is comprised of 100 skilled RN, CNA, & APRN team members who make this Cardiovascular team the best in the region.
The Nursing Director will positively impact the Cath Lab with a range of opportunities to be a leader the Cardiovascular Services team both clinically and represent the Cath Lab cross-functionally to other departments. The Director will represent the Cath Lab at all meetings while managing the Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac-Catheter Lab activities with staff and patients to ensure highest quality of care.
