Assembler - 1st Shift

Position Title: Assembler – 1st Shift

Wage: $16.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble and crate rigid and padded seal and shelter products
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly processes according to order tickets
- Transport aluminum pipe to assembly area
- Cut pipe to proper length with a chop saw, measuring pipe and placing in storage or assembly area
- Add pull-rope systems to hoods, locating and drilling required holes, and attaching screw eyes and pulleys
- Prepare hood system hardware kits
- Place aluminum pipe in pipe sleeves and place hood and required hardware in the box

Requirements for Assembler:
- Able to operate variety of hand tools including impact wrench, pneumatic nailer, rivet guns, air shears, chop and radial saws, hand saw, ruler/tape measure, hammer and pliers
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read and understand drawings and written instructions
