Per Diem Registered Nurse

Home Instead® is looking for a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)to join our wonderful team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout the community! Home Instead provides a variety of home care services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. We currently have an opening for a per diem Nurse Manager in our Staten Island location. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing the delivery of Nurse Directed Services for the seniors we serve. A strong desire to work with aging adults is a must along with excellent communication and organization skills.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Active role in the Agency's clinical intakes and Quality Assurance Program

· Active role in HHA onboarding, training, and in-service requirement oversight

· Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

· Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, caring, and congenial manner

· Complete and meet the requirements of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, sex registry screen and drug screen

· Ability to operate Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word programs

· Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance

Prefer some experience in senior care occasional weekend and evening work may be necessary.
