Computer Technology Support

A majority of work perfromed will be repairing and maintaining of P.O.S (point of sale equipment ) at the store level for 35 Locations. We will also work on projects in the stores and in new store builds. I.O.S support is a plus. Working on server and server programs such as Active directory is a plus. This will also include setting up remote desktop peripherals ike printers and computers monitors. Knowlege on programing ip schemes in desk tops and cameras is a plus.The second funtion of this position would be to help with Web design for an internal website. Word press and webley is a plus .

Overview:
An - O.T.P technician (Operations Technology Pro) is responsible for maintaining and repairing all of the technology equipment with in Mc Donalds locations. Training is provided.The tech will also help in trouble shooting Level #3 daily work orders .This includes but not limited to Tracing out and terminating cat 5 cables. Programing and installing i.p cameras. Imaging registers and computers with new windows loads. The pos work load include but are not limited to registers, cameras, and all P.O.S Peripheral Devices (Scanners, Printers, bump bars, kitchen controllers, monitors, ime clocks, back office computers, camera systems etc) at Mc Donald’s restaurants and our main office building.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Run cables and terminate ends. If and when we have remodels
•Must know how to use power tools in a safe manner
• Monitor and maintain building security systems .D.V.R (digital video recordings) We can teach you this. However basic knowledge is a plus. We are looking for someone who knows basics in ip schemes. Where to go in a computer to change and statically assign ip schemes. Training is provided.
Knowledge on how to use a multi meter a plus. This way you can track ac and dc voltage for cameras.
• On- call shift- one week -every 7 weeks
• Willingness to work on special projects when they call for them
• various computer skills a plus
• Identify and report possible future repairs to supervisor

Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to drive a lift truck or trailer a plus. Training is provided
Valid driver’s license required.( must have a clean driving record)
Must have reliable form of transportation. ( truck is a plus) Tool boxes can be provided.

Background and Drug tests are conducted.

• Education Requirements – High school diploma
• 1 year of tech school or technology training( or higher) a plus
• Software certificate a plus
• Technology experience a plus
• Experience in P.O.S equipment a plus
• Knowledge of computers and how they operate
• Knowledge of cable management and termination.
