Personal Injury Paralegal

Fast paced Personal Injury Law Firm seeking an experienced Paralegal. We are a very busy and high energy firm with a very friendly work environment. A successful candidate must be organized and be able to multi-task, a self-starter and team player. Candidate must be professional, have excellent customer service skills, have a positive attitude and must have a passion for helping others.

Duties include but not limited to:
*Case Management
*Organizing and handling daily calendar for attorney
*Ensure all deadlines are calendared and met
*Legal research
*Drafting documents such as:
o Pleadings
o Scheduling orders
o Disclosures
o Routine motions
*Court filings
*Medical record reviews
*Client interaction
*Assist in discovery, depositions and trial preparation
*Miscellaneous clerical duties as needed

Requirements:
*Minimum 4-years prior experience working in a law firm
*Familiar with Nevada Local Rules in Civil Procedure for State and Federal Courts
*Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint
*Initiative and ability to meet tight task deadlines
*Excellent time management and organization skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Must have a desire to learn and grow professionally, which includes participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations
*Available after hours if needed
*Team Player and ability to work under pressure
*Demonstrate a high level of commitment of customer service
*Bi-lingual preferred but not required
