Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Suncadia Club Social Director with member relations and the development of membership programs and events, as well as communication with members on upcoming events. This position will work 20 hours and the Swim and Fitness Center front desk to have direct interactions with members and 20 hours in the office working on membership applications and member communication through programs like Constant Contact and ClubEssentials.

Responsibilities
  • Work the front desk at SFC as needed to have direct interactions with the membership.
  • Develop and maintain a great rapport with existing membership.
  • Conduct club tours with membership candidates and be available to meet with membership prospects regularly.
  • Assist the Club Social Director with the creation and growth of the Suncadia Club calendar of events while coordinating with TC Club so events do not overlap.
  • Process applications for membership.
  • Assisting Director of Club Operations and Club Social Director, along with department heads on regular communication of upcoming member events as well as Club newsworthy items.
  • Attend Membership Advisory Board meetings as assigned by Club Social Director.
  • Assist with the regular maintenance of Membership website with club events and information
  • Provide prompt response to member calls and inquiries.
  • Assist with correspondence relating to membership marketing and enrollment.
  • Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of a prospective member database.
  • Follow up with member candidates according to the dictates of their situations (phone call, letter or email).
  • Organize and participate in new member orientations and monthly gatherings.
  • Participate in working the member events as scheduled.
  • Attend staff and other required meetings as established by the Suncadia Club Social Director.
  • Attend local trade shows where Suncadia is present to represent club membership.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer experience required
  • Experience with data entry and using Microsoft Excel
  • Previous marketing/public relations experience desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Previous/current private club membership experience preferred.
