Summary
The RN / Registered Nurse Trauma Stepdown provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN / Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN / Registered Nurse directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
EducationRequired: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: BSN
Experience1 year of Prior clinical experience in area of expertise RN / Registered Nurse Trauma Stepdown
Required Certifications/Licensure/RegistrationRegistered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG, critical care course and/or emergency care course that includes critical care didactic as part of course.
Other Qualifications- CCRN preferred.
- TNCC preferred.
- PALS preferred
