We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Costing Coordinator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Create and maintain Pre-costing by coordinating information from the Design, Textile, Trim, CAD and factory quotes.
  • Negotiate cmt’s with factories based on manager’s targets.
  • Maintaining a file of all cost sheets and factory quotes, updating as revisions occur.
  • Provide Sales/Merchandising/Production/Design teams with updated Pre-costing summary reports.
  • Review final FOB confirmations for accuracy.
  • Update SAP.
  • Summarize final standard cost.
  • Correspond with factories chosen for bulk placement and notify them of xmill dates to get best garment deliveries and shipment options.
  • Update PLM with allocations from manager.
  • Once costing and production dates are finalized update bulk/pps placements in PLM (Data Entry).
  • Run allocations exception reports in order to catch missing styles.
  • Run allocation factory report to see factory loads (in the past this was reviewed with production director).
  • Provide allocation chart for Production/Textile/Trim & Technical teams.
  • Correspond with factories or JAG departments on styles that will not reach our target mark-up
  • Work closely with Fabric, Trim, CAD departments to create and maintain pre-costing and factory quotes.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP and/or PLM a plus
