Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center.

Your Career at Community | Opportunity. Challenge. Growth. Responsibilities: We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Community Regional ICU Stepdown team! We are a close-knit team—fostering a nurturing and supportive environment with many resources at your fingertips.

In this 10-bed unit, you will work closely with medical staff and physicians tasked with providing comprehensive critical care, including trauma, neurological, cardiac, and medical-surgical advanced care. As part of this collaborative team and through evidence-based practice, you will be key to the continuum of care of Valley patients.

You will be provided opportunities to advance your skill set and educational training to qualify to pursue additional certifications within critical care (i.e. PCCN, CCRN, Trauma Core, etc.). RN patient ratios are 1:3 in this unit. Qualifications: Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of approved nursing program required

Licenses and Certifications
  • Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
