What you get to do as an Industrial Engineer

  • Create, update, and validate labor standards
  • Generate reports and analyze data from labor management to identify opportunities and recommend actions to improve
  • Maintain the labor management system
  • Support facility layout and process change to increase productivity while maintaining safety
  • Support process improvement events including Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
  • Participates or leads projects designed to improve warehouse productivity, safety, efficiency, or service
  • Re-engineer warehouse slotting and pick configuration to improve work safety, associate experience and cost savings
  • Collaborate on work safety, food safety, and continuous improvement for warehouse operations
  • Identify opportunities, perform root cause analysis and design solutions to streamline and improve processes

 

What you bring as an Industrial Engineer

  • 3-5 years' experience implementing Industrial Engineering processes such time studies, pick paths, etc.
  • Highly proficient with WMS systems; Red Prairie/Priya preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, JD Edwards, and Priya preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, coach, and train others with strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions and have attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred, Master’s ideal
